Project Pathfinder

Project Pathfinder focuses on transforming lives, particularly those of children aged 6 to 17 who exhibit sexual behavior issues, often stemming from their own experiences of victimization. The program seeks to guide these children towards a positive path in life.

Pathfinder plays a crucial role in ensuring community safety by providing necessary support to children who display problematic sexual behaviors. Many of the teenagers engaged with the program have undergone adjudication.

A key aspect of Pathfinder's approach is fostering empathy and instilling a sense of accountability in the children it serves. Restitution is among the program's core objectives.

Recognizing the significance of addressing underlying trauma, Pathfinder also dedicates efforts to tackling these issues alongside behavioral interventions.

Operating within the Children's Center for Hope & Healing, Pathfinder is uniquely positioned to assist families affected by intra-familial, "child-on-child" abuse. The program endeavors to meet the needs of all children involved and, when appropriate, facilitates family reunification.
